Inspiriert von den Kurven der Frauen bemühen wir uns, sie mit schicken und zeitlosen Silhouetten zu schmücken. Wir glauben an die Kraft und Schönheit der natürlichen weiblichen Essenz. Wir fördern Selbstliebe und positive Körperbilder. Unser Ziel ist es, dass jede Frau unsere Kleidungsstücke anzieht, einen Blick in den Spiegel wirft und erkennt, wie schön und würdig sie wirklich ist. ÜBER UNSERE DESIGNERIN DAYKEYLA MCGEE
Daykeyla (day - kee - lah) war ein begabtes junges Mädchen, das ihre künstlerische Karriere im Alter von fünf Jahren begann, um Kurzgeschichten zu schreiben und zu illustrieren. Nachdem sie von anderen Kindern wegen ihrer Größe hart gehänselt wurde, verlagerte sich ihr Fokus auf Modedesign. Sie fing an, Kleider zu illustrieren, von denen sie glaubte, dass sie die anderen Kinder dazu bringen würden, sie zu akzeptieren und ihr Selbstwertgefühl zu stärken. Als Daykeyla im Januar 2007 am Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) Unterricht nahm, hatte sie Ordner mit ihren eigenen Modeentwürfen und Illustrationen gefüllt. In ihrem Studium erwarb Daykeyla wichtige Fähigkeiten wie Musterherstellung, Drapierung, Schneiderei, Bekleidungskonstruktion und Stoffoberflächendesign. Nach vierjährigen Kursen schloss sie ihr Studium mit ihrem Bachelor of Fine Art Fashion Design ab.
Im Mai 2011 zog Daykeyla zurück nach Buffalo, New York, wo sie keinen Job in ihrem Bereich finden konnte. Als alleinerziehende Mutter von zwei kleinen Jungen beginnt sie, zwei schlecht bezahlte Jobs zu arbeiten, um über die Runden zu kommen. Die Jahre, in denen wir überarbeitet wurden, wurden frustrierend. Daykeyla hatte Angst, eine weitere Statistik zu werden, und sie ließ sich von dieser Angst dazu bringen, ihre eigenen Möglichkeiten zu schaffen. Mit einem sechs Monate alten Kind an der Hüfte und einem Fünfjährigen auf dem Schoß etablierte Daykeyla am 21. Februar 2013 ihre selbstbetitelte Modelinie.
Seitdem hat sie zwei Modenschauen und drei Kollektionen produziert. Sie hat Buffalos lokale Prominente wie die Radiopersönlichkeit Redd Roxx und Bischof Darius Pridgen eingekleidet. Daykeylas High-Fashion-Couture-Linie zierte sogar die Laufstege während der New York Fashion Week 2018, wo sie ihre neueste Kollektion mit dem Titel "Schizo" zeigte. Ihre Entwürfe wurden im Guild Magazine, Hip Hop Weekly und Fashion Week vorgestellt.

ABOUT OUR DESIGNER DAYKEYLA MCGEE
Daykeyla (day - kee - lah) was a gifted young girl, who begin her artistic career at the age of five writing and illustrating short stories. After being teased harshly by other children for her size, her focus changed to fashion design. She begin illustrating dresses that she believed would make the other children accept her and boost her self esteem. By the time Daykeyla entered classes at Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) in January 2007, she had binders filled with her own fashion designs and illustrations. In her studies, Daykeyla acquired important skills such as pattern-making, draping, tailoring, garment construction, and fabric surface design. After completing four years of classes, she graduated with her Bachelor's of Fine Art Fashion Design.
In May 2011, Daykeyla moved back to Buffalo, New York unable to secure a job in her field. As a single mother to two young boys, she begin to work two low paying jobs to make ends meet. The years of being overworked became frustrating. Daykeyla was afraid of becoming another statistic and she let that fear drive her into creating her own opportunities. With a six month old on her hip and a five year old in her lap, Daykeyla established her self-titled fashion line on February 21, 2013.
Since then she has produced two fashion shows, and three collections. She has dressed Buffalo's local celebrities such as radio personality Redd Roxx, and Bishop Darius Pridgen. Daykeyla's high fashion couture line has even graced the runways during New York Fashion Week in 2018, where she showed her latest collection titled, "Schizo". Her designs have been featured in Guild Magazine, Hip Hop Weekly, and Fashion Week.
