I started binding books to bring back life to my dad's tattered up paperback originals of the Lord of the Ring series. They had been my entry point into fantasy when I was a teenager and now they were falling apart. Seeing them come to life with a sturdy cover, and classy foil lettering on the cover was incredibly satisfying. I haven't stopped rebinding books since. Books hold so many memories - stories that bring us to far off places, meet characters that stay with us, and evoke feelings that linger long after the last page is finished. I find so much joy in taking people's favorite books and turning them into bookshelf beauties.
