Element Jewelry Design vino de la vuelta de una página de diccionario. Sé que puede parecer extraño, pero es cierto. Sabía que quería una tienda de Etsy, pero no tenía ni idea de cómo nombrarla. Prometí que la primera palabra que señalé con los ojos cerrados iba a ser el nombre de mi tienda. Así es como nació Element Jewelry Design :)

Cuando era más joven, solía desarmar mis viejas joyas y agregarle cosas nuevas para animarlas. Todavía disfruto haciendo esto. Así que ahora solo parece natural recorrer los mercados de pulgas locales y las ventas de patio en busca de piezas que me gusta denominar como "perdidas". Trato de darles una nueva vida usando el mismo proceso cuando era más joven.

Mi objetivo final es crear piezas memorables y duraderas que puedas transmitir de generación en generación. Ya sea una cadena de perlas o pendientes envueltos en alambre. Todos están hechos para durar. Siempre he sido notoriamente muy duro con mis joyas y, por lo tanto, quiero que usted, el comprador, tenga algo que resista la prueba del tiempo.

De vez en cuando puede encontrar otros artículos en mi página, ya que me gusta incursionar en otras actividades artísticas, pero esta página se compone principalmente de mis obsesiones de joyería. Trabajo a tiempo completo y sueño con poder crear todos los días en mi propia casa en lugar de arrastrarme al temido 9-5. Todo lo que he hecho ha sido en mi hora de almuerzo o los fines de semana. Element Jewelry Design es mi bebé. Espero que si lo nutro, crezca.

Element Jewelry Design came from the flip of a dictionary page. I know that may seem odd, but it is true. I knew I wanted an Etsy shop, but had no clue what to name it. I vowed that the first word I pointed to with eyes closed was going to the be the name of my store. So that is how Element Jewelry Design was born :)

When I was younger I used to take apart my old jewelry and add new things to it to liven it up. I still enjoy doing this. So now it only seems natural to scour local flea markets and yard sales looking for pieces I like to term as "lost." I try to give them new life using the same process when I was younger.

My ultimate goal is to create lasting memorable pieces that you will be able to pass down from generation to generation. Whether it be a string of pearls or wire wrapped earrings. They are all made to last. I have always notoriously been very hard on my jewelry and so I want you, the buyer, to have something that will stand the test of time.

From time to time you might find other items on my page since I do like to dabble in other artistic pursuits, but this page is mostly composed of my jewelry obsessions. I do work full-time and dream of being able to create everyday in my own home instead of dragging myself to the dreaded 9-5. Everything I have made has been on my lunch break or on the weekends. Element Jewelry Design is my baby. I hope that if I nurture it, it will grow.
