Hi, I'm Pamela Dourado, the person behind GoldenFern.
I'm Brazilian, living in Portugal, and the creative mind behind GoldenFern.
GoldenFern is a digital stationery studio creating elegant planners, spreadsheets, journals, digital books, and other thoughtful creations for life's most beautifully complicated and meaningful projects.
My experience living between countries and cultures is also reflected in my shop. That's why GoldenFern offers creations in both English and Portuguese, helping more people find products that fit their lives and individual needs.
I believe beauty and functionality can go hand in hand. Every product is thoughtfully designed with attention to detail, combining a timeless, classic aesthetic with the practicality and possibilities of the digital world.
For years, I created my own digital planners for personal use because I could never quite find one that matched the way I wanted to organise my life. There was always a page missing, a section I didn't need, or something that simply didn't fit my needs.
But it was when my husband and I started planning our wedding that the idea of turning my passion for creating into something bigger truly began.
We're planning our wedding in Brazil while living abroad: a ceremony in one city, a celebration in another, vendors paid in Brazilian reais (R$), savings in euros (€), and family and friends travelling from different places. Very quickly, I realised that my notes and calculator were no longer enough.
So I created the spreadsheet I wished I could have bought. One place to manage our budget in both currencies, every payment and due date, the guest lists for each event, where everyone would be staying, and who needed an airport pickup.
And because planning a wedding should be a beautiful experience, not feel like doing taxes, I wanted to create something that was just as lovely to look at as it was practical to use.
Those first spreadsheets were designed and tested through a very real and personal project: planning my own wedding.
There's no need to write formulas. Simply fill in the highlighted cells, and the dashboards, totals, and alerts take care of the rest.
Since then, GoldenFern has grown to include planners for faith, family, finances, and small businesses. And every product is still personally designed and tested by me before it reaches you.
Today, that same philosophy guides everything I create at GoldenFern: digital products that bring together beauty, purpose, and thoughtful details, designed to be part of life's simplest and most special moments.
