Drawn from a single thread
LoomLineArt is a small independent design studio based in Austria. I started this studio to capture cities the way they feel to live in - as single, continuous threads weaving together centuries of architecture into one connected silhouette.
The name comes from the metaphor. A loom weaves single threads into a whole, and a city's character is woven the same way - from thousands of architectural moments, taken individually, but read together as one place. That's the line I'm chasing in every piece.
Each design begins with deep research into a city's most iconic landmarks - their architectural detail, their proportions, their place in the skyline. From there I shape the composition: where each landmark sits along the baseline, how much breathing room separates them, how the line flows from left to right across the frame. The result is a minimalist, editorial line drawing - a continuous-line city skyline.
Every design ships as an instant digital download in six print-ready sizes (3:2, 4:3, 5:4, 7:5, ISO A series, 70x50 cm) plus a master SVG you can scale to any size. Print at home, at your local print shop, or via any print-on-demand service. The art is yours to live with.
If you frame one, I'd love to see it on your wall - tag @loomlineart on Instagram.
