Ich lebe im New Forest und fotografiere sehr gerne die Umgebung, darunter auch einige der schönen Strände in der Nähe.
Ob ich nun Menschen oder Orte fotografiere, ich bin immer wieder aufs Neue fasziniert von dem Wunderbaren, das in jedem einzelnen Moment steckt, den ich einfange. Darüber schreibe ich auf www.lukeimages.com/ – und weise oft darauf hin, wie leicht uns diese Momente im Alltag entgehen.
Dasselbe gilt für Beziehungen. Ich habe schon unzählige Male gehört, dass letztendlich alles auf Beziehungen ankommt. An diesem Punkt werde ich unruhig, denn ich weiß, dass ich mich in dieser Hinsicht noch deutlich verbessern muss.
Hier kommen die Karteikarten ins Spiel!
Sie sind so einfach und doch so wirkungsvoll, wenn es darum geht, Wertschätzung, Dank, Glückwünsche, Mitgefühl und Unterstützung auszudrücken. Wenn sie mit Bedacht verschickt werden (und nicht achtlos, wie ich es einst tat und es zutiefst bereute), können sie eine große Ermutigung sein.
Warum schicke ich nicht mehr davon?!
Nun ja, ich habe angefangen, sie mit meinen eigenen Fotografien zu erstellen und kaufe auch welche von anderen – mit der Absicht, ein wenig Staunen zu teilen und Beziehungen aufzubauen!

Based in the New Forest, I love to get out and photograph the local area, including some of the lovely beaches near here.
Whether it's people or places I'm photographing, I'm amazed at the wonder contained in each moment I capture. And I write about this at https://www.lukeimages.com/ – often noting how these moments are so easy to miss in our everyday life.
The same goes for relationships. I've lost count of how many times I've heard people say that when it all comes down to it, it's all about relationships. At which point I start to fidget as I know I have a lot of improving to do in that regard.
That's where the notecards come in!
They're so simple and yet powerful in conveying appreciation, thanks, congratulations, sympathy and support. If sent thoughtfully (and not carelessly, like I once did and forever regretted), they can be such an encouragement.
So why don't I send more of them?!
Well, I've started making them with my photographs and also started buying those of others too – with the intention of sharing a bit of wonder and building relationships!
