For those who are interested, here’s a little background info on how I started PVC Animals
He estado haciendo y vendiendo las esculturas terminadas durante varios años. Todo comenzó cuando estaba aburrido de la carpintería y quería probar algo diferente. Busqué en línea y encontré un patrón libre para un pequeño pájaro de tubería de pvc. Me intrigó tanto que lo imprimí y lo probé de inmediato. ¡Me enganché de inmediato! Fue muy gratificante obtener una escultura de pájaro tan linda de solo una simple pieza de tubería de pvc. Mis primeros pájaros eran bastante aficionados, con algunas curvas de cuello de aspecto realmente extraño, ¡pero qué diablos me estaba divirtiendo! ¡Esos pájaros tontos que se crearon hace años todavía están en mis jardines hoy!
Después de hacer varios pájaros a partir de ese patrón, comencé a diseñar el mío propio. Tengo que admitir que mis primeros patrones no produjeron exactamente obras de arte, pero después de múltiples alteraciones se me ocurrieron algunos diseños con los que estaba contento. Tuve un cliente que me preguntó si podía hacer un águila. Le dije que no estaba seguro, pero que lo intentaría. Así que gracias a "Linda" ahora tengo un patrón de águila del que estoy muy orgullosa. ¡Ella también es la inspiración para el alce!
Entonces, si estás buscando algo divertido en lo que trabajar, intenta hacer un animal con tubería de pvc, ¡podrías engancharte a él como lo hice yo!

I’ve been making and selling the finished sculptures for several years now. It all started when I was bored with woodworking and wanted to try something different. I searched online and came across a free pattern for a small pvc pipe bird. It intrigued me so much that I printed it out and tried it right away. I was immediately hooked! It was so gratifying to get such a cute bird sculpture out of just a plain piece of pvc pipe. My first few birds were quite amateurish, with some really odd looking neck bends, but what the heck I was having fun! Those silly birds that were created years ago are still in my gardens today!
After making several birds from that one pattern I started to design my own. I have to admit my first few patterns didn’t exactly produce works of art, but after multiple alterations I came up with some designs that I was happy with. I had a client ask if I could make an eagle. I told her I wasn’t sure but I would give it a try. So thanks to “Linda” I now have an eagle pattern that I’m quite proud of. She is also the inspiration for the moose as well!
So if you’re looking for something fun to work on, try making an animal out of pvc pipe, you might get hooked on it like I did!
