Hallo und willkommen im Poppy Stitch Studio! Mein Name ist Jennifer, ich bin eine alte Seele und introvertierte Frau, die sonnige Tage, Overalls und Blumen aller Art liebt.
Ich lebe mit meiner Familie und meinen beiden Katzen Willow und Maple in Benton, Arkansas. Ich verbringe meine Zeit damit, Flohmärkte nach ausgefallenen Fundstücken zu durchstöbern und bestickten Schmuck herzustellen. Ich habe Poppy Stitch Studio als kreatives Ventil gegründet, weil ich selbst nie Schmuck finden konnte, der mir gefiel.
Ich liebe Handstickerei und Nähen. Ich habe das Sticken mit Vintage-Stickpackungen aus den 60er und 70er Jahren gelernt. Ich liebe den Vintage-Look alter Stickereien. Ich sammle Vintage-Stickereien und sticke meine eigenen, wenn ich nichts in gutem Zustand finde.
Ich habe festgestellt, dass handgestickter Schmuck nicht nur einzigartig und wunderschön ist, sondern mir beim Sticken auch das Gefühl gibt, mit meinen Vorfahren verbunden zu sein. Handstickerei wird seit Jahrtausenden von Frauen in fast jeder Kultur praktiziert. Es hat etwas Schönes, sich hinzusetzen, zu sticken und nachzudenken oder Musik zu hören. Ich empfinde es als wunderbare Therapie für die Seele.

Hi and welcome to Poppy Stitch Studio! My name is Jennifer, and I'm an old soul and introvert who loves sunny days, overalls, and flowers of any kind.
I live in Benton, Arkansas with my family and two cats Willow and Maple. I spend my time scouring flea markets for quirky finds, and making embroidered jewelry. I started Poppy Stitch Studio as a creative outlet because I could never find jewelry I liked for myself.
I love hand embroidery and sewing. I learned to embroider using vintage crewel kits from the 60's and 70's. I adore the vintage look of old embroideries. I collect vintage embroidery and stitch my own when I cannot find what I want in good condition.
I have found that hand embroidered jewelry is not only unique and beautiful, but embroidering it makes me feel like I'm somehow tied to my ancestors. Hand embroidery has been done by women for thousands of years in nearly every culture. Theres something beautiful about sitting down to stitch and think or listen to music. I find it to be a beautiful therapy for the soul.
