Exact same feeling you'd expect, as writing with supernote's ceramic diy refill pen (the one that someone 'borrowed without my knowledge' from the table in statbucks the other day, mistaken it for an ink pen of course, and never returned). I use it in a lamy al-star pen. A lot of ghosting when first inserted, calibration didn't help even with all settings at max levels. What worked was not inserting it all the way, but just enough to make it securely hold in place, this way no calibration was needed. Like it much better this way, as tip sticks out more than the one lamy came with.

5 na 5 gwiazdekFunctions exactly as described, would like a version with dual bar magnets or a few dot magnets to hold longer pens! Both of my pens are unbalanced when attached, but your mileage may vary!!

Howdy! I did look into this early on in my designs. However, since I don't actually have a manta, I was limited in my prototype process. I used my A5x as a model to figure out a length that wouldn't interfere with the screen on/off magnet or feel flimsy, then asked testers who actually owned Mantas for feedback. Additionally, I discovered that pen magnet orientation/ placement is widely varied, so did my best for a 'universal' usage. If you have further details/specs that you think would help improve the design I'd be happy to try them out! Thanks again!

5 na 5 gwiazdekAfter some initial tweaking the nib worked great in my new Lamy Al-Star! Now I have a ceramic nib and a working button in a form factor I love. At first I ended up getting a lot of ghost-contact with the new nib, and the SuperNote's calibration wasn't really resolving the issue. I ended up having to hollow out one of the original nibs that came with the Al-Star and slip the ceramic core from the one I bought from QuestionableQuests into it. Now it's working perfectly. It's was a bit roundabout, but the support I received was outstanding and seems like a defect with the new nib or the sensitivity of the al-star. I'm very happy with the outcome and everything is working great!

5 na 5 gwiazdekHad a minor issue where i had to push the tip from the back as plastic was exposed on the end; seller helped me figure it out and i ordered a second tip for another pen

Howdy! All nibs are tested on my own pens and a5x for full functionality. Since these nibs are handmade, there is slight unavoidable variation I do my best to minimize but sometimes these differences are magnified in other pens. Any problems and all feedback accounted for and I always do my best to ensure my customers are satisfied. Additionally, I'm always on the look out for ways to streamline and simplify the manufacturing process which helps identify and minimize problems for the future. Thanks again and happy writing!
