Long time ago for more than three decades, rug-making has been the heartbeat of our family. Long before the world called it “artisanal,” my older generations were quietly weaving beauty into homes — crafting patterns that told stories, using skills passed from one hand to the next.
I grew up watching my elders transform raw wool into something magical. Their workshop wasn’t just a place to work — it was a place of patience, precision, and pride. Every curve, every knot, every stroke of color was done with intention. They believed rugs were more than décor — they were the soul of a room.
