Mi aventura en la joyería comenzó mientras viajaba. Buscaba un regalo significativo para alguien, pero todo lo que veía me parecía demasiado genérico y producido en masa. Nada tenía alma. Así que decidí intentar hacer algo yo misma. Ese pequeño intento terminó convirtiéndose en el comienzo de un largo viaje.
Desde entonces, crear joyas se ha convertido en una verdadera pasión para mí.
Siempre he sentido una profunda conexión con las montañas, los bosques, los animales y los parajes salvajes de la naturaleza. Al mismo tiempo, siempre me ha fascinado el simbolismo, los signos antiguos, los motivos religiosos y cómo los pequeños objetos pueden transmitir un significado más allá de su forma. Muchos de mis diseños surgen de esta mezcla de naturaleza y simbolismo.
Algunas piezas se inspiran en paisajes y texturas naturales, otras en símbolos que la gente ha llevado consigo durante siglos. Me gusta la idea de que un pequeño colgante pueda representar algo personal: una creencia, un recuerdo, protección, fuerza o simplemente un recordatorio de algo significativo.
También prefiero la joyería que se siente natural y auténtica. No me atrae mucho la perfección excesivamente pulida. Me gustan las texturas rústicas, los acabados oxidados y las piezas que parecen haber tenido un tiempo de uso.
Con los años, creé mi primera tienda en Etsy, Silver Rituals (www.etsy.com/shop/silverrituals/), donde creo diseños similares en plata. Esta tienda es una continuación de esa trayectoria, pero se centra en el latón.
El latón tiene una personalidad diferente a la plata. Se siente más cálido, más pesado y más sólido. También me permite crear piezas más grandes y accesibles, manteniendo los mismos temas de naturaleza, simbolismo y significado.
Trabajo sola en mi estudio y fabrico cada pieza yo misma, desde el primer boceto hasta los últimos retoques. Disfruto de todo el proceso de dar forma al metal, experimentar con texturas y convertir poco a poco una idea en algo que puedas llevar contigo.
Para mí, las joyas son más que un simple adorno. Pueden ser un pequeño símbolo, un recordatorio sutil o algo que te conecta con un lugar, una idea o una creencia.
My journey into jewelry making started while I was traveling. I was looking for a meaningful gift for someone, but everything I saw felt too generic and mass produced. Nothing really had a soul to it. So I decided to try making something myself. That small attempt ended up becoming the beginning of a long journey.
Since then, creating jewelry has become a real passion of mine.
I have always felt a deep connection to mountains, forests, animals, and wild places in nature. At the same time I have always been fascinated by symbolism, ancient signs, religious motifs, and the way small objects can carry meaning beyond their shape. Many of my designs come from this mix of nature and symbolism.
Some pieces are inspired by landscapes and natural textures, others by symbols that people have carried for centuries. I like the idea that a small pendant can represent something personal. A belief, a memory, protection, strength, or simply a reminder of something meaningful.
I also prefer jewelry that feels raw and authentic. I am not very drawn to highly polished perfection. I like rustic textures, oxidized finishes, and pieces that look like they have lived a little.
Over the years I built my first Etsy shop, Silver Rituals https://www.etsy.com/shop/silverrituals/, where I create similar designs in silver. This shop is a continuation of that journey, but focused on brass.
Brass has a different personality than silver. It feels warmer, heavier, and more grounded. It also allows me to create larger and more accessible pieces while keeping the same themes of nature, symbolism, and meaning.
I work alone in my studio and make every piece myself, from the first sketch to the final finishing touches. I enjoy the whole process of shaping metal, experimenting with textures, and slowly turning an idea into something you can wear and carry with you.
For me jewelry is more than decoration. It can be a small symbol, a quiet reminder, or something that connects you to a place, an idea, or a belief.
