Literally running and bouncing with new ideas
Op een heldere, zonnige dag was Cyn op haar dagelijkse rondje door de buurt, verzonken in gedachten met ideeën, zoals gewoonlijk. Ze dacht in feite aan een hilarische gebeurtenis op het werk en de oneliner die iedereen deed grinniken, toen het haar raakte: "Ik kraak mezelf toch niet zomaar ... Waarom zet ik niet wat van mijn onnozele oneliners op wat t-shirts? Beter nog, waarom zet ik het niet ook op andere dingen?" En zo werd in bijna een oogwenk Running Frog Studios geboren. Hoppend tussen printer en Photoshop, is ze te horen giechelen over haar nieuwe ideeën en afgewerkte stukken, blij als punch dat een gelukkige klant iets bestelt dat uniek is voor 'hen'.
De gereedschappen van het vak zijn machinaal borduren, warmteoverdracht vinyl (HTV), commerciële warmtepers, sublimatie en welk kooky idee Cyn's brein ook kookt. Hoewel het daar misschien allemaal begint, draait het eindresultaat allemaal om jou en je creatieve, individuele, heerlijke zelf dat de producten die we maken des te geweldiger maakt.
Wanneer Cyn niet aan het creëren is, is ze druk bezig met het leven en houden van het leven met haar man, het plannen van uitstapjes om de kleinkinderen te zien en het trainen voor marathons.
One bright, sunny day, Cyn was out on her daily run around the neighborhood, lost in thought with ideas, as usual. She was, in fact, thinking of a hilarious event at work and the one-liner that made everyone chuckle, when it hit her, "Surely I don't just crack myself up … Why don't I put some of my silly one-liners on some t-shirts? Better yet, why don't I put it on other things, too?" And just like that, in almost a blink of an eye, Running Frog Studios was born. Hopping between printer and Photoshop, she can be heard giggling over her new ideas and finished pieces, pleased as punch that some lucky customer is ordering something that is uniquely "them."
The tools of the trade are machine embroidery, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), commercial heat press, sublimation, and whatever kooky idea Cyn's brain cooks up. While it all might start there, the end result is all about you and your creative, individual, delightful self that makes the products we make all the more awesome.
When Cyn isn't creating, she's busy living and loving life with her husband, planning trips to see the grandbabies, and training for marathons.
