A snip-it of my jewelry journey
Mi chiamo Katie 👋 e ho iniziato Star Native nel 2012. Prima di allora mi sono dilettato nel design di gioielli sotto il nome di My Own Little Universe. Sembra eoni fa! Il mio primo corso di metallurgia è stato nel 2000 e mi sono innamorato ma non ho preso un'altra classe fino al 2007. A quel punto, stavo lavorando come graphic designer e imparando gioielli sul lato. Ho continuato a lavorare sulle mie abilità sul lato della mia carriera di graphic design per anni! Finalmente alla fine di dicembre del 2019, sono andato a tempo pieno nella mia carriera di gioielliere. Avevo paura!! Per fortuna ha funzionato e ringrazio sinceramente tutti voi per essere qui con me nel mio viaggio. Se mi hai appena trovato o sei stato qui fin dall'inizio. Grazie mille!! Voi siete il motivo per cui sono qui!!!

My name is Katie 👋 and I started Star Native in 2012. Before that I dabbled around in jewelry design under the name My Own Little Universe. That feels like eons ago! My first metalsmithing class was in the year 2000 and I fell in love but I didn't take another class until 2007. At that point, I was working as a graphic designer and learning jewelry on the side. I continued to work on my skill on the side of my graphic design career for years! Finally at the end of December of 2019, I went full time in my jewelry career. I was scared!! Thankfully it's been working out and I sincerely thank all of you for being here with me on my journey. Whether you just found me or have been here since the beginning. Thank you SO much!! You are why I am here!!!
