Nature and architecture speak the same language
Studio Nature Design is an architect-led visual studio exploring the shared language of nature and structure.
The work begins with relationships: a shell and a stair, a river and a street, a cell and a city block. I isolate one structural idea, develop it as an original drawing or visual system, and test how it belongs on an object.
The studio is organized around three design worlds. Urban organisms looks at cities, cells, grids, and networks as living systems. Living systems follows branching, growth, botanical structure, and natural-history studies. Elements and atmospheres translates air, water, stone, desert, shells, and fields into restrained visual form.
I create and curate the visual direction, artwork, product concepts, and listing presentation. Professional production partners make, pack, or ship the physical item depending on the product. This made-to-order model is production infrastructure; the identity of the shop is the authored work.
