A partire dal 1° luglio 2026, una nuova normativa UE introdurrà un dazio doganale per tipologia di prodotto per gli ordini spediti verso paesi europei da paesi extra-UE. Tale dazio viene riscosso al momento dell'acquisto e serve a coprire i costi di spedizione tramite il servizio DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). Di conseguenza, le spese postali verso i paesi europei sono aumentate per consentire l'utilizzo del servizio DDP, evitando così agli acquirenti di dover pagare nuovamente il dazio al ricevimento del pacco.

Il 29 agosto 2025, gli Stati Uniti hanno abolito l'esenzione de minimis per le merci in ingresso nel Paese. Ciò significa che le merci di qualsiasi valore possono ora essere soggette a dazi doganali o tariffe. Di conseguenza, dovremo spedire i nostri pacchi tramite un servizio DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) per evitare costi aggiuntivi non previsti a carico dell'acquirente. Il servizio DDP prevede un costo aggiuntivo (0,50 £ fissi più il 10% del valore della merce), che verrà addebitato in aggiunta alla normale tariffa di spedizione al momento dell'ordine.

From July 1st 2026, new EU law will enforce a duty fee per product type for orders sent to European countries from outside the EU. This fee is collected at sale and is used to send the goods via DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) postal services. As a result, postal costs to European countries have been increased to enable the use of DDP, preventing buyers from having to pay the fee a second time on receipt of the package.

*** UNITED STATES TARRIFS ANNOUNCEMENT ***

On August 29th 2025, the USA removed de minimis exemption for goods entering the country. This means goods of any value may now be subject to customs duties or tariffs. As a result, we will now need to send our packages via a DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) service to avoid unknown fees charged to the buyer. The DDP service will require an extra fee (£0.50 flat plus 10% of goods value), which is charged in addition to the normal delivery fee upon ordering.
