No empecé desde arriba.
Empecé como enfermera práctica con licencia (LPN): aprendí lo básico, hice el trabajo y me di cuenta desde el principio de que la forma en que se enseñaba enfermería no funcionaba para la mayoría de nosotras. Nos daban contenido para memorizar y nos mandaban a la cama con la esperanza de que lo aprendiéramos. Para muchas enfermeras, nunca funciona.
Seguí adelante. De enfermera práctica con licencia a enfermera titulada. De enfermera titulada a enfermera practicante. Nueve años en urgencias, UCI, obstetricia de alto riesgo y cirugía médica. Dos certificaciones. Cuatro títulos. Y en medio de todo esto, me di cuenta de que existía la misma brecha en todos los niveles: nadie enseñaba a las enfermeras a pensar de verdad.
No se trata de memorizar, sino de pensar.
Esa constatación es lo que dio origen a Think Like a Provider™.
Creé los recursos de esta tienda porque los necesitaba y no existían. Cada ebook, cada plantilla, cada marco de trabajo surgió de un momento clínico real: un cambio que me paralizó, una pregunta que no pude responder, una situación con un paciente que tuve que analizar sin una guía. Creé la guía después.
Lo que me inspira es simple. Todas las enfermeras de este centro se esfuerzan por ser mejores para sus pacientes. No es poca cosa. Es todo. La atención médica necesita enfermeras que piensen críticamente, razonen con claridad y se presenten con confianza, no solo con credenciales.
Estás haciendo algo valiente. Este trabajo es duro. Y mereces recursos que realmente te acompañen donde estás y te impulsen hacia adelante.
Por eso existe esta tienda. Por eso vengo todos los días.

I didn't start at the top.
I started as an LPN — learning the basics, doing the work, and figuring out early on that the way nursing was being taught wasn't working for most of us. We were handed content to memorize and sent to the bedside hoping it would click. For a lot of nurses, it never does.
I kept going. LPN to RN. RN to NP. Nine years across emergency departments, ICUs, high-risk OB, and med-surg. Two board certifications. Four Degrees. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I realized the same gap existed at every single level — nobody was teaching nurses how to actually think.
Not how to memorize. How to think.
That realization is what started Think Like a Provider™.
I built the resources in this shop because I needed them and they didn't exist. Every ebook, every template, every framework came out of a real clinical moment — a shift where I froze, a question I couldn't answer, a patient situation I had to reason through without a roadmap. I built the roadmap after.
What inspires me is simple. Every nurse in this shop is trying to become better for their patients. That's not small. That's everything. Healthcare needs nurses who think critically, reason clearly, and show up to the bedside with confidence — not just credentials.
You are doing something brave. This work is hard. And you deserve resources that actually meet you where you are and move you forward.
