Hello, and welcome!
My name is Laura, and my Sister's name is Serena.
We are native Californians....Two sisters, with a love of nature, and a passion for the sea & shore that is woven into the fabric of who we are.
Serena is a knowledgeable & gifted gardening enthusiast, whose gorgeous cottage-style garden has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens magazine.
I (Laura), am a contemporary artist/painter. My work has been represented by Galleries in Northern California, and Taos, New Mexico; and is collected in the U.S. & abroad.
Our love of Nature and the Sea has brought us to where we are now!
Our desire is to create unique gifts & treasures, using our life-time collection of natural objects, which we have lovingly gleaned from the shore. These include driftwood, authentic and rare ocean glass & ocean pottery, stones, coral pieces, abalone, sea urchins, seashells, & much more.
I (Laura) incorporate my original artwork, photography & designs into some of my creations as well.
We are respectful of Nature and the Sea. Everything we collect is beachcombed ethically, we tread lightly, and don't disturb living creatures. We do not purchase any items from the Sea for creation of our work.
We hope, through visiting our shop, you'll come down with a little Thalassomania yourself ;-)
Our passion may sometimes be seen as eccentric, but of course we are Wild For Shore!
