How it all began...
En 2016, mi pequeño estaba llegando a una edad en la que estaba listo para salir de la cuna. Comenzamos a buscar opciones y encontré adorables marcos de cama para casas en Pinterest, pero no pude encontrar ninguno en los EE. UU. y no estaba en condiciones de gastar unos cientos de dólares en el envío. Siempre he sido un solucionador de problemas y un creador, así que fui a la mesa de dibujo y descubrí mi propio diseño.
Después de que compartí la cama en mi cuenta de Instagram, la gente empezó a preguntar por ellas. Inmediatamente comencé a remolcar a mi hijo de 2 años a Home Depot y rápidamente me puse a trabajar cortando el balcón de nuestro departamento en medio del invierno en Utah, ¡y nació esta pequeña tienda! Comencé ofreciendo solo una opción de tamaño de cuna y desde entonces me he expandido hasta ofrecer tamaños gemelos y completos.
En 2017 tuve mi segundo hijo que nació con síndrome de Angelman. Necesitaba encontrar una manera de mantener mi negocio en funcionamiento sin tener que tender cada cama a mano. Simplemente no tuve tiempo. Encontré un fabricante que podía hacer mis camas exactamente como yo (¡bueno, mucho mejor!) ¡y realicé un pedido grande!

Actualización: A medida que pasan los años, siento que tengo cada vez menos tiempo para dedicarle a este pequeño negocio mío y, lamentablemente, es hora de cerrar el negocio. Fue una decisión difícil, pero ya es hora. Gracias a cualquier cliente pasado o futuro que pueda estar leyendo esto. ¡Ha sido un gran placer ser parte de hacer que la habitación de su hijo sea un poco mágica!

In 2016 my little boy was getting to an age where he was ready to transition out of his crib. We began looking for options and I came across adorable house bed frames on pinterest, but I couldn't find any within the US and I wasn't in a position to spend a few hundred dollars on shipping. I've always been a problem solver and a creator, so I went to the drawing board and figured out my own design.
After I shared the bed on my instagram account, people started asking about them. I immediately started towing my 2 year old to home depot and quickly got to work sawing away on our apartment balcony in the middle of winter in Utah, and this little shop was born! I began with only offering a crib size option and have expanded since then to offering twin and full sizes!
In 2017 I had my second child who was born with Angelman Syndrome. I needed to figure out a way to still keep my business going without having to hand make every bed. I just didn't have the time. I found a manufacturer who was able to make my beds exactly as I had (okay, a lot better!) and placed a large order!
I know there are many more options available now, so I am grateful to you for being here and choosing to support this momma owned shop!
Update: As the years have gone on, I feel like I have less and less time to devote to this little business baby of mine and it's sadly time to close shop. It was a hard decision, but it's time. Thank you to any past or future customers who might be reading this. It's been such a joy to be a part of making your child's room a little bit magical!
