Craft Entrepreneurship Teachers

The Craft Entrepreneurship curriculum is taught in classrooms and community spaces by experienced, local Etsy sellers (many of whom have prior teaching experience). Successful teachers should demonstrate leadership, empathy, an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for sharing their skills and knowledge, and an understanding of Etsy seller policies.

Program partners are responsible for recruiting an Etsy seller to teach the class. We will provide materials to help program partners find and train teachers. Through our teacher training toolkit, teachers learn best practices in curriculum facilitation and classroom management. The goal of training is to help each teacher harness their own experiences as an Etsy seller, so they can effectively share them with others.
