WHY ARE OUR SILK BEDDING DIFFERENT?
There are many well-known mulberry silks, such as Satin, Charmeuse, Chiffon, Crêpe-de-chine... Different weaves and textures produce different types of silk. Our traditional silk, known as Habutai, is hand-woven in hundreds of years old craft villages in Vietnam, with a lower GSM (grams of silk per square meter) than satin and a higher GSM (grams of silk per square meter) than chiffon, and thus has enough thickness to make quilt bedding set at a lower pricE and more lightweight while still ensuring the great benefits of silk to users

HOW TO MAKE?
The entire process of this blanket is handcrafted.
• The process of weaving, and dyeing fabrics are handmade in our craft villages. Because silk weaving and dyeing are all done by hand by our artisans, each piece is one-of-a-kind. At the same time, we promote a green lifestyle that decreases waste and environmental effect.
• The silk cloth is then cut to size and design by artisans in the villages and hand-embroidery/hand-stitched. They are exceptionally skilled and diligent farmers. This is a means for them to supplement their income outside of farming which makes a lot of sense for our business.
• It normally takes artists 1-2 weeks to make a handmade quilt, depending on the time of year. We hope you understand and accept this waiting as a means to enjoy slow-living, and that the wait will be well worth it!

HOW TO TELL IF YOUR SILK IS REAL OR FAKE?
To find out, use the product's small attached. When burnt, real silk will smell similar to burning hair and produce brittle ash. Once the flame is removed, it'll stop burning. If there's no ash present and it smells like burning plastic, it's not real silk.

HOW TO CARE
• Dry clean or Machine wash at no more than 30 degrees
• Avoid direct sunlight
• Do not use detergents
