NeoShiki: Art & Fashion
Hey everyone! My name is Emily and NEOSHIKI is my handmade business. I come from a Japanese background, thus I grew up exposed to Japanese culture. I'm also from a creative family and been drawing my entire life. I love Anime, horror movies, witchcraft and other morbid curiosities.
My creations have appeared in various fashion shows and artisan markets around Toronto, Canada, indies films such as Make Your Move, publications like The Art of Living Dead Dolls, and have gained the attention of icons such as Alice Cooper and horror painter Basil Gogos.
I am educated in Graphic Design and worked at a design firm previously. I've also worked as a Japanese-English translator for Symbolism photographer John Santerineross, working alongside galleries, photographers and editors in Tokyo's art scene.
My work is a mix of my personal interests, and what other weirdos like myself are looking for. Therefore, my store provides a little something for any one who's into Goth & Alt culture - Cyberpunk, Goth, Steampunk, Lolita, Crust Punk, etc.
