manCV is a compact 2-channel manual control-voltage generator for Eurorack systems. Each channel provides its own large control knob and can independently operate in either unipolar or bipolar mode.
In unipolar mode, the knob generates a voltage from 0 to +10 V. Switch to bipolar mode and the same control covers –10 V to +10 V, with the centre position corresponding to approximately 0 V.
That makes manCV a simple but surprisingly versatile utility: manually open a filter, shift an oscillator or sequencer, control modulation depth, create a fixed offset, move parameters during a performance or explore CV-controlled modules without needing an LFO, envelope or sequencer.
The circuit uses a precision voltage reference rather than relying directly on the Eurorack supply rails, providing stable and repeatable control voltages. Additional filtering around the controls helps keep voltage changes smooth while adjusting the knobs.
No input signal is required: manCV generates the control voltage itself.
