The manual is suitable as announced for beginners, it is not difficult to crochet the jacket. However, the instructions are far too imprecise for me. You need a baby to measure against, for example, the hood is not described in rows or in centimeters. It simply means crochet "up to the necessary length". Since I don't have a baby myself and I don't have a baby in the immediate vicinity, it's very difficult for me to estimate the appropriate length. Even the sleeve doesn't look really nice. With a precise guide to mesh removal, it would be much more even, without heels. I'm a bit disappointed, it looks pretty (down to the sleeves), but the instructions aren't perfect.

Unfortunately, I don't get along quite as well with this guide.
The cap is divided into 3 sections. The sections are explained very well, the manual contains many pictures and is easy to understand.
Unfortunately, however, the transitions of the sections are flawed. For example, the cuff is worked across to the middle part of the cap. Here, however, it only means that you have to work chopsticks until the end of the round. Unfortunately, it is not clear from the instructions how many chopsticks must be crocheted per "rib pattern". I felt the same way with the top of the cap.
Of course, no exact mesh numbers can be mentioned, as the middle part of the cap varies depending on the head size, but a bit more explanation around or into which stitches needs to be crocheted would be nice.
Maybe it's just me
