Sorry, we could not translate this listing to English.

This handle is a replica of an extremely well preserved English knife from the 15th century (Amme No. 46). The blade was forged from C75 hand and carefully heat treated to achieve a hardness of about 60HRC (hardness after Rockwell). The handles were made of boxwood (the type of wood used for the original is unfortunately not known, but the vast majority of the handles in England are made of boxwood), finely ground, treated with linseed oil and Then polished. In addition, the handle shells of Zierpins are made of brass. In addition, the handle is reinforced by shoulder plates and a brass handle end disc. The handle shells were historically riveted with brass rivets on the angel, the handle end disc was riveted with a crown at the end of the handle. The blade is extremely sharp on the entire length and polished by hand on water stones.
