Our wooden birdhouses are ideal for feeding the birds in winter. In addition, the birdhouse is additionally equipped with small dormers on the roof, which makes the birdhouse something very special. All houses are equipped with a feeding shaft in the middle. Filling takes place via the roof. Simply remove the top of the roof and fill the feed meter. The food can then roll through two opposite slits on the ground and thus be absorbed by the birds. Each side of the aviary has an entry opening that allows the birds to approach from all sides. The birdhouse roof is already treated with wood preservatives, the rest is still untreated and should be treated with a wood protection glaze before use. We recommend to paint the birdhouse every 2-3 years again with wood preservative so that it lasts a long time. To do this, you can use all commercially available colors. Importantly, you have to like it.
