Background:

"Moritz the Reindeer" is a character that Hanna originally designed in her illustration course at the university and we both found him super sweet and very fitting as a motif for our second screen-printed map. So we crawled out Moritz's Illustrator file and improved a few subtleties, added a suitable background and a matching lettering. We decided to design the card once with the lettering "Merry Christmas" and once with "Happy Holidays" (for all those who celebrate.B a different holiday, like Hanukkah).

On the origin:

As with all our screen prints, we used the vector file of the subject to convert it into a screen print cliché that serves as a template for each print. Developed in the bathtub and printed at the desk, each of our prints is made with a lot of love and is 100% handmade. Since the environment is very important to us, we always strive to make our work process as environmentally friendly and vegan as possible and use water-based paint and recycled paper and photo board :)
