Wild bee and insect hotel "Tropfen"

I've been making these large bee stones for six years now. The nesting aids are extremely popular!

This tried and tested, practical nesting aid for wild bees and insects, made from fired natural clay, is particularly durable and long-lasting, especially compared to nesting aids made of wood and similar materials. The clay is fired at 950°C, ensuring that the ceramic remains porous enough for insect nesting.

The unique design in a natural-abstract style blends perfectly into any environment and is a real highlight for garden, terrace, house wall or natural stone wall.

Ideal for over 20 different species of wild bees and wasps. Their natural enemies, such as fruit flies, cuckoo wasps, club wasps, and parasitic wasps (enemies of aphids!), will inevitably appear as well. Developed according to the specifications and recommendations of beekeeping experts.

Each wild bee/insect hotel is lovingly handcrafted from pottery, making it an original and unique piece. No stencils or prefabricated shapes are used, so there may always be slight variations from the picture.

Just the thing for anyone who wants to do something for species conservation and at the same time have an attractive and unusual decorative piece for their house, garden or balcony.

Installation/Assembly:
Insects prefer a dry, warm nesting place.
Therefore, place the nest in a location protected from rain—e.g., under a roof overhang or balcony, or protected within a dry stone wall. Avoid choosing a location exposed to the weather! Moisture could harm the brood.
In addition, the clay could absorb water and be damaged in the event of sudden, severe frost.

A rich food supply for wild bees in the immediate vicinity is of course important for a good colonization!

There are two holes on the back for hanging.
