The geometric wood moulds for the "PULCHRA SILVA" series are cut out of wooden panels about 2 millimetres thick using a laser, sanded and oiled in several layers. The transparent and high-quality wood oil used is food-safe and therefore harmless to humans and animals. The paint gives the wood jewelry important properties. It protects against stains, such as coffee, wine, fruit or water stains, and is saliva and sweat-resistant.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE TYPE OF WOOD:
The distribution area of true mahogany is the Neotropics of Central and South America, but now mahogany is also cultivated in plantations of Southeast Asia. The light to dark reddish-brown heartwood darkens strongly in light and has an attractive golden sheen. The sapwood is light to yellowish grey. The pores are medium-sized and often filled with dark, sometimes white, non-mineral core substances. The wood beams are finely arranged and usually storey-like.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE 925 SILVER:
For the ear hooks I use 925 silver. Also known as sterling silver, the alloy consists of 92.5 percent pure silver.
