____________________________________

The rubik’s cube is a timeless classic toy where players order the coloured sides by turning its components to get unified coloured faces. Our Braillecube makes this popular toy accessible to people who are blind or visually impaired.

Instead of six colours each component of the Braillecube is provided with the first three letters of the colour in Braille letters.

In plain white the Braillecube is very difficult to solve for sighted people with no knowledge of braille. Thereby the elegant design object should make being blind or being visually impaired more intelligible and raise awareness for the topic.

After our Braillecube concept was exhibited in “Talk to Me: Design and the Communication between People and Objects“ at MoMa NYC and after receiving a lot of positiv feedback, we are happy to be able to bring the Braillecube back to the store.

Have fun playing!
