Houseplant Socks - A sock pattern for indoor and outdoor plants, for homebodies and gardeners, for everyone who loves their indoor plants and also for those who should probably find new homes for their cactuses.

What's special about this pattern: It offers you different components that you can combine as you like! The pattern is helping you to create your very own Houseplant socks and suggests two pretty styles.

The document contains:

Detailed descriptions on how to knit cuff, leg, shadow wrap heel, foot and toe of your new sock.

Instructions for EU Sizes 34/35, 36/37, 38/39, 40/41, 42/43, 44/45 und 46/47.

16 knitting charts for the different sizes and different patterns.

This pattern does NOT contain tutorials for knitting beginners.

The Houseplant Socks are knit with 4-ply yarn in two or three different colors. The pattern is not suitable for beginners. You should know basic knitting techniques and it's best if you've already knit socks and tried out colorwork. This being said, you don't have to be an absolute pro: The pattern is especially designed with frequent color changes. Some still have floats as long as 15 stitches. So it's a nice knit if you want to practice and advance your colorwork.

By buying this pattern you're getting a pdf-file. The pattern is written in English. You'll have to print the pattern yourself if you need it and buy any materials and tools separately. To knit the Houseplant Socks you'll need 30-50 g 4-ply yarn in each of the two or three colors (and a bit more if you choose to knit in only two colors or sizes above EU 42/43), 2.5 mm knitting needles, a tapestry needle and if you like a sock blocker, too.

Since the instructions for the four-ply Miezi socks have become my standard sock pattern (knit this basic pattern also without a pattern), I am extremely happy about the instructions for six-ply yarn. They just sit perfectly, not only with me, but also with all recipients! Thank you very much!
