I love things that are well designed whether that be italian cars, fabrics, jewelry, handbags, etc. I appreciate the handiwork and theory of design that goes into well designed items. I also love music and dance - modern, jazz, and ballet.
I have worked as a professional web designer and director/producer/videographer since 1996. I wanted to find a niche for me on etsy where I would be designing and making something handmade that I would love, and hopefully others will as well. Well, I was fortunate to meet some very special people who value and collect 18th, 19th, and 20th French and English fabrics - which I LOVE! So, I started buying them. Then I decided to make handbags out of them, each that would be unique with a history and a story of their own.
Each of these handbags comes with a story of their own that started before I began sewing them. The fabric has been loved before by individuals who have salvaged and saved these lovely fabrics.
