Hello, I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself and the business my husband and I put together :)

I am currently in my 13th year of embroidery but have been sewing and crafting for at least 26 years. I started at a young age when I sewed my first project in grade 7 home economics. I was hooked! It became an outlet for me to express myself through my creativity. Before that, I dabbled in other crafts such as hand-knotted friendship bracelets and dreamcatchers. Since I started sewing, I have never looked back. I get such a joyful feeling when I know people love what I have created for them.

In 2004 I thought I would try my hand at machine embroidery. I was so surprised when a completely new door opened to me. I had a lot to learn and I was determined. Over the past 13 years, I have developed my skills to bring people beautiful embroidery that I truly enjoy.

In 2011 I purchased my very first feltie pattern and that became a small obsession, that to this day is still continuing to grow. I made them for fun for a while but then in February 2014 Fields of Felties was born when I started a legitimate store offering wholesale felties. After 2 long years of organizing, we were able to open up FOF Clip Shoppe, a subsidiary of Fields of Felties, which is where we offer finished items using our felties and other products.

I am also proud to say that when I am not embroidering for FOF, I am teaching embroidery classes at a local quilt shop where I am also employed :)
