Welcome to Chrysalis Fibers, my Etsy store. I love everything about fiber and the fiber-related arts.

What I sell:

Hand-dyed yarn - created by me in my studio/kitchen.

Hand-spun yarn - spun on my Ashford Traveler or antique Canadian Production spinning wheel. I will note when I use my hand-dyed roving or if the roving is purchased from another source.

Recycled yarn - carefully raveled, washed and lightly steamed. Sometimes recycled yarn is also hand-dyed.

Vintage yarn - now and then I stumble across old yarn at estate sales. Normally this yarn is rewound so I can inspect the yarn for any damage. If necessary, yarn will be washed and lightly steamed.


Please convo me if you have any questions about my yarn or would like to suggest a specific colorway.

I hope you like what you see. I dye in small batches usually only 2 or 3 skeins of a particular color-way. Centerpull balls are available, but please convo me if you'd like your skein wound into a ball. (Not for handspun yarns.)
