I trained and worked for many years as a bespoke shoe maker and have always had a deep love of natural materials in particular fine leathers.
I can't bear the thought of wasting something as beautiful as leather. I therefore only discard leather when the scraps get so small it is practically dust. Even the punched out holes and stars get used to make the greetings cards.
I make every item myself and as every process is done by hand (and often by eye) every item will be unique. Particularly when ordering the greetings card which are made to order please understand that the card you receive will not be exactly the same as the photo. The hand embossed lettering and shapes will be positioned slightly differently in each case and the stripes and shapes will be randomly selected from those shown on the colourway you choose.
