Kind is the result of a dream I have always had since I was little, to design and build things that would make people happy and meet a particular need in their lives. Freedom to express myself creatively has become a high priority in my life. I have been teaching myself the art of woodworking since I was 10 years old. Right now kind is focusing on making long board skateboard decks from scratch and using a variety of methods to design the decks. I use pyrography (wood-burning), painting, staining, and a few other techniques to create custom one of a kind designs. Artwork typically focuses on nature, music, people and good health. All work is done with love and attention to detail, and all items in the shop are designed and brought to fruition by myself, Samuel Dodson.
