Inspired by Sandy Paws, Nantucket Beaches & Unconditional Love 🐾
Welcome to ACK Sandy Paws, inspired by the Paws in the Sand children's book series!
Our story began on the beautiful island of Nantucket, Massachusetts, where my beloved German Shorthaired Pointer, Lilly, spent countless days exploring sandy beaches, chasing adventures, and making unforgettable memories.
When Mater, my son's lovable Golden Retriever, joined our adventures, their friendship inspired something special — a children's book celebrating curiosity, friendship, adventure, and the unconditional love of our four-legged companions.
I wrote Lilly & Mater while Lilly was still by my side, never imagining that the story would become such a meaningful tribute to her. The book was finalized just a month before she passed away, making every page even more precious.
Today, ACK Sandy Paws brings those memories to life through colorful children's books, cozy apparel, accessories, and thoughtful gifts inspired by island living and our love for dogs.
Every design carries a little piece of Nantucket and the spirit of Lilly's adventures.
From our sandy paws to yours, thank you for being part of our story!
With love and sandy paws,
