5 out of 5 starsI feel very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to purchase this item. It is a vintage pewter plate from Fulda, Germany with the picture of the Fulda Dom (cathedral) on it. It is very special to me as I was born in Fulda and as a child went to the cathedral for Sunday mass and also attended a school there run by the cathedral authorities. The seller was super. He told me that his wife's grandfather was a US soldier stationed in Fulda, and brought that plate back from there.

As always, shipping is too high in my opinion, but sellers don’t necessarily control that side of the business. I cannot wait to give it to a teacher friend of mine who still has a regular chalkboard in their room.
