A museum theft for your next game night
I'm Christof, the person behind After Hours Casefiles. I love murder mysteries, whether that's an organised event, a party with friends or a printed case spread across the table at home. Playing other people's games made me want to write my own.
I enjoy escape rooms too. I wanted to bring some of those puzzles into a mystery you can play at home: decoding a message, making sense of a strange record, then finding out what it changes about the case.
The Meridian Cabinet starts with a museum theft. The Aster Dial is missing, four staff members are still inside and a midnight courier is about to collect the crates. Your job is to work out whose alibi holds up and which package needs to stay put.
Everyone plays as an investigator. The hints and answers are in a separate guide, so nobody has to read the ending beforehand or sit out as host. Download the PDFs, print your player file and gather some pens. I'll leave the arguing over suspects to you.
