Great and I am so very excited when I opened it. I'm really so happy to order it. It's great and crazy idea to work on form and color. I have to watch it again and again. Sometimes I don't have the words. You have real creative talent, applause

A really beautiful windlight that spreads a gentle and warm light. Great for cozy quiet evenings. The contact with the saleswoman and her service were more than first class. Thank you very much and gladly return!

    Even nicer as expected!
Super fine and beautifully crafted vase, which convinces with its simplicity and elegance.
Not the right vase? Not anymore from now on! Because this vase is completely different and super uncomplicated to use and conjures up a very pretty flower anememt even without floristic skill. By the way, the vase is also suitable for fresh herbs, which finally get a nice place on the table to refine the dishes.
Shipping: Super fast and safe packed.
I am very satisfied and can highly recommend a purchase at AkiaKeramik.

I ordered two of these pastel flower cups. Akia immediately thanked me for the order and assured me that the cups would be on the way as soon as possible – two days later they were there. I'm absolutely thrilled with these simple yet playful cups. They are very nicely processed down to the last detail. I can't decide which of the two cups I like better.

Modern ceramics made with attention to detail

Hello
Thank you for taking the time to visit my shop.
My name is Akia Obrist and I am a trained ceramist. I completed my training as a potter in a pottery manufactory, Rheinfelder Keramik. At the same time, I attended the School of Applied Arts in Zurich in the ceramics class.
I live and work in Liestal, a small town near Basel. (Switzerland)
I make my products in a community studio and run a pottery and ceramic painting school together with my studio colleague.
The focus of my work is tableware and homeware made of porcelain and stoneware. This means that they are fired at high temperature ( 1260 degrees Celsius ) which makes the ceramic very hard and robust, although it is very finely worked. The products are therefore suitable for dishwasher and microwave. Of course, all my clays and glazes are real.
Most of my works are turned by hand on the potter's wheel, but also plate construction and casting processes are sometimes used. I also do sculptures when I have some time and muse.
I use glazes rather sparingly, so that the beauty of the clay comes into its own. This gives my vessels a modern urban finish.
I have been working as a ceramist for almost 40 years and love my job as much as I did on the first day.
My work is done with a lot of love and professional expertise and I wish that it gives my customers as much pleasure as I do.
If you have any questions about my work or would like to order something that is not available in the shop, I look forward to your message.
The manufacturing process for my ceramics takes about four weeks, as it takes many steps to finish your object.
Thank you for your interest in my shop and visit me on Instagram, Facebook or my website to get a better insight into my work.
