I'm Anne from Cologne, I work as a personnel developer and train people on how to deal with each other in professional life. I knew for a long time that there was something else slumbering in me. I have visited almost every design market in and around Cologne and was enthusiastic about all the things that are offered there.

On the way home from a Christmas design market, I decided to try making jewelry myself – from old toy parts. As the jewelry became more and more and my friends were already well taken care of, I took the courage and opened my own small online shop. I was overjoyed when the first customers bought and I realized that people like what I do.

Over time, the toy parts became old vintage buttons that I look for everywhere – at flea markets, in button shops around the world, at grandma's and at grandma's friends' places. Since the beginning of 2012, my hobby has become my own business and now a popular jewelry product. Now I have already participated in about 20 design markets as an exhibitor and I am still very happy about every single customer who stops at my booth and smiles.

Everything - from finding buttons, designing, producing, taking pictures, designing the online presence, communicating with my customers, packaging and shipping - I do it myself. Meine Leidenschaft für Schmuck entstand in meiner Kindheit. Meine Oma war Schneiderin und besaß Unmengen an wunderschönen Knöpfen. In den großen Knopf-Gläsern habe ich immer die schönsten herausgesucht und sie als Schatz gehütet. Meine Schwestern habe ich mit dem Schmuck meiner Mutter und Oma geschmückt und vor genau 10 Jahren beschloss ich, selbst Schmuck zu basteln.
Seit dem suche ich nach schönen Knöpfen auf der ganzen Welt und verwandle sie zu Schmuckstücken. Andere Materialien kamen mit der Zeit dazu, sodass du mittlerweile eine bunte Mischung aus Polymer Clay Schmuck, minimalistischem Goldschmuck und einzigartigem Knopfschmuck bei mir findest.

Alles - vom Design, der Produktion, dem Fotografieren, dem Gestalten der Online-Präsenz, dem Kommunizieren mit meinen Kund*innen, dem Verpacken und dem Verschicken - erledige ich selbst. Ann & für mich Produkte werden mit großer Sorgfalt, einem Auge für Details und für Umweltfreundlichkeit hergestellt. Bei Ann & für mich kaufst Du fair in jeder Hinsicht.
