La historia detrás del nombre de Booted Design es muy literal. El creador de la tienda, Franny Anderson, fue expulsado.
Después de una hermosa década en Canadá y viviendo en Toronto, Montreal y Vancouver, el propietario de Booted enfrentó políticas de inmigración difíciles que la dejaron sin recurso para quedarse en su amado hogar. Mientras empacaba sus pertenencias para regresar a Estados Unidos, se dio cuenta de que su pasatiempo haciendo cestas de fieltro (o nidos, como le gusta llamarlos) se había convertido en una colección, una colección tan grande, que estaría loca por llevarlas a través de la frontera y mantenerlas todas. Con demasiados nidos de fieltro propios en su apartamento, espera que estos nidos flexibles, útiles y dulces agreguen un toque cálido a sus nuevos hogares.

The story behind Booted Design's name is very literal. The store's creator, Franny Anderson, got Booted.
After a beautiful decade in Canada and living in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver, Booted's owner faced difficult immigration policies which left her with no recourse to stay in her beloved home. As she was packing up her belongings to move back stateside, she realized that her hobby making felted baskets (or nests, as she likes to call them) had grown into quite a collection - so large a collection, that she'd be crazy to schlepp them over the border and keep them all. With too many felted nests of her own in her apartment, she hopes these flexible, useful, and sweet nests add a warm touch to their new homes.
