Columpio Studio, how it all started…
In 2017 I started my small business called Columpio Studio. It was a small brand of handmade bucket hats and handbags. I began my small business journey with absolutely no sewing or business experience but I learned a lot along the way. This iteration of my handmade items shop took a pause in 2022 because I needed a change in scenario and wanted to explore other projects I had had in mind for quite some time.
In 2023, my husband motivated me to open and Etsy shop just as I had signed up on an online course for creating digital content. By the end of the year, I was pregnant with our baby girl and any and all personal projects came to a complete halt. I was busy making a baby in the oven 💜. After our daughter was born, I found myself having little to no time to work or get a part time job because I am a full time stay at home mom and I knew that I had to work from home.
Opening my Etsy shop was just what I needed to allow me to channel my creativity and at the same time enjoy my daughter´s early years at home. Thank you for stopping by my shop and I hope you like the things you see. Blessings and much love from Puerto Rico.
