La madre de mi esposo era una costurera que tenía un negocio de fabricación de osos de peluche. La edad le pasó factura, la vida cambió y dejó de hacer los osos de peluche. Ella no se deshizo de su alijo de telas y ahora las tengo. Ahora necesitan un nuevo hogar.
Cuando era niña, mi abuela, que trabajaba en F. Schumacher & Co en la ciudad de Nueva York, me impresionó por la ropa, las telas y los muebles clásicos. Para satisfacer mi deseo de ropa bien hecha y diseñada, trabajé a tiempo parcial en un minorista de ropa para hombres y mujeres de alta gama, Mark Shale. Aunque ahora están fuera del negocio, les fue extremadamente bien y expandieron sus tiendas por todo el país en las décadas de 1980 y 1990. Con mi descuento muy generoso, adquirí varias piezas (y conservé) que amo hasta el día de hoy. La vida sucede, tu estilo de vida cambia y tu cuerpo también. Me aferré a estas piezas con la esperanza de que algún día podría volver a encajar en ellas. ¡Me rindo! Ahora, son para que los adquieras.

My husband's mother was a seamstress that had a business making teddybears. Age took it's toll, life changed and she stopped making the teddy bears. She did not get rid of her stash of fabrics and now I have them. They are now needing a new home.
As a kid ,my grandmother, who worked at F. Schumacher & Co in New York City, made an impression on me for fine classic clothes, fabrics and furnishings. To satisfy my desire for well made and designed clothes, I worked part time at a high end men's and women's clothing retailer, Mark Shale. Although now out of business, they did extremely well and expanded their stores around the country in the 1980s and 1990s. With my very generous discount, I acquired several pieces (and kept) that I love to this day. Life happens, your lifestyle changes and so does your body. I held on to these pieces hoping that I would someday be able to fit into them again. I give up! Now, they are for you to acquire.
