Nuestra historia no es tan única.
Comparte muchas similitudes con otras pequeñas empresas; comenzando con un pasatiempo, una pasión y habilidad que se desarrolla se comparte y se ofrece a los demás.
Designs In The Making es el siguiente:
1. Quería darle a un amigo un regalo que fuera algo personal y realmente adecuado para ellos. Se habían mudado a un nuevo lugar y querían decorar sus paredes con cosas que tuvieran significado para ellos.
2. Siendo creativo diseñé algo, lo imprimí, lo enmarqué y se lo di.
3. Naturalmente, estando orgulloso de lo que hice, mostré mi diseño a amigos y familiares.
4. Con eso comenzaron a pedir lo suyo para sí mismos o para dar a los demás.
5. ¿Por qué no crear una tienda de Etsy?
Sin embargo, aquí es donde creo que comienza nuestra verdadera historia.
Como creativo, soy alguien a quien le gusta organizarse y prepararse demasiado, tratando de asegurarse de que algo sea perfecto antes de compartir mi trabajo, inevitablemente retrasándolo el mayor tiempo posible. Quizás por eso prosperé con el trabajo universitario porque tenía una fecha límite.
Aquí es donde se me ocurrió 'Designs In The Making'.
Quiero estar siempre creando más y desarrollando mi tienda.
No hay presión para tener toda una colección de diseños para enumerar en Etsy con el fin de salir en vivo.
No hay necesidad de un logotipo, banner y marca finalizados que debo elegir ahora y tiene que ser eso para siempre.
En su lugar, que sea un trabajo en progreso.
Expandirme y desarrollarme a medida que mis habilidades lo hacen.
Evoluciona y añade nuevos diseños a medida que surjan las ideas y las inspiraciones.
Por lo tanto, bienvenido a Designs In The Making y vea cómo comienza su viaje.
Our story is not that unique.
It shares many similarities with other small businesses; starting with a hobby, a passion and skill that develops gets shared and offered to others.
Designs In The Making goes as follows:
1. I wanted to give a friend a gift that was something personal and truly fitting to them. They had moved into a new place and wanted to decorate their walls with things that had meaning to them.
2. Being creative I designed something, printed it out, framed it and gave it to them.
3. Naturally being proud of what I made, I showed my design to friends and family.
4. With that they began asking for their own for either themselves or to give to others.
5. Why not set up an Etsy store?
This is where I believe our true story begins though.
As creative, I am someone who likes to overly organise and prepare, trying to make sure something is perfect before I share my work, inevitably delaying for as long as possible. Perhaps that’s why I thrived with university work because I had a deadline.
This is where I came up with ‘Designs In The Making’.
I want to always be creating more and developing my store.
No pressure to have a whole collection of designs to list on Etsy in order to go live.
No need for a finalised logo, banner and branding that I must choose now and it has to be that forever.
Instead, let it be a work in progress.
Expand and develop as my skills do so.
Evolve and add new designs as and when the ideas and inspirations come.
