I spent years on scaffolding—restoring 19th-century ceilings, painting faux marble on palace walls, and gilding columns in historic venues. After training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, I moved to NYC to work as a painting conservator in landmark buildings, later returning to Kraków to run my own decorative painting studio.While I absolutely love getting my hands dirty with gold leaf, a girl's spine can only take so many hours on a scaffold. To keep my sanity (and my back) intact, I decided to take the exact same artistic eye, sense of proportion, and love for minimalist aesthetics that I used in palaces, and bring them onto the digital screen.That’s Drawlery. It’s a space where my fine-art background splits into two mediums. One day, I’m physically painting intricate marble veins on custom decorative trays or restoring ceramics with gold leaf in the kintsugi tradition.
