I'm glad you found your way here.

How did I find my own shop?
A few years ago, I realized with absolute horror how much plastic waste we actually produce and what immense damage it has already caused to nature and wildlife. At that moment I knew that I wanted to change something.

It started with me drastically reducing my own plastic consumption. What I quickly noticed was that although there is the good old jute bag as an alternative to the large plastic bags, hardly anyone replaces the small disposable plastic bags from the fruit and vegetable department with a sustainable alternative. It is precisely these small bags that find a particularly short use and then immediately end up in the garbage again.

I myself had been on the road with reusable bags for some time now and not only I was enthusiastic about them, but also many others. I tell you, with these bags you get into conversation quickly! ;-)

When I realized that the openness to the topic was great, the idea of selling my own bags was suddenly quite obvious. And so I dared to take the step into self-employment. Without much know-how but a lot of passion for the cause.

It took me quite a while to find a suitable company for the production of the bags. From the very beginning, it was important to me that ethical and social standards exist and that the bags are made of organic cotton. I found what I was looking for at an Indian company from Calcutta, which is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified and thus meets these requirements.

The finished bags are the result of a joint exchange process in which the manufacturer and I communicated about changes and subtleties until my original idea was implemented in the end. Oh, that was a feeling when I first held my finished bags in my hands! :)

Returns and exchange details
You have the right to revoke this contract within fourteen days without giving reasons. The revocation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last goods. In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me of your decision to revoke this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.B. a letter sent by post or e-mail). In order to find a good solution for everyone, I ask for a prior contact.

If you would like to return an item under the right of withdrawal, please note the following points:

The customer is responsible for the shipping and bears the costs.

Please enclose an invoice / order number or similar so that I can assign the goods. Items with clear signs of use will not be taken back. Should the goods show signs of use or damage, I reserve the right to claim compensation for value.

If, exceptionally, you have received an incorrect/defective item, please contact me. I will arrange for replacements immediately.

If your goods have been paid, I usually ship on the same day, but at the latest within 3 days. Within Germany, shipments usually arrive within 1-4 days. The terms for foreign countries are correspondingly longer.

I always try to ship the goods quickly and pack them in an environmentally friendly way.

Shipping takes place either as a large letter/maxi letter with Deutsche Post or as a parcel with DHL. If you would like to be shipped by registered mail or with traceability, please contact me before placing the order. If possible, I will consider individual wishes. This may incur additional shipping costs.

Customs duties
Should customs duties be incurred, as may occur with some international orders, these must be borne by the buyer. Please contact your post office for information on country fees. If the shipment is stopped and checked by the customs of your home country, there may be delays, which I am very sorry for, but unfortunately not within my sphere of influence.
