YONA Wear begann als Idee, um meine Liebe zum Draußensein mit meinem Kunst- / Bekleidungshintergrund zu kombinieren. Nach dem Verkauf unseres lokalen Einzelhandelsgeschäfts, das wir in Asheville, NC, gegründet hatten, brauchten meine kreativen Säfte ein Outlet. Diesmal ohne Verkaufsfläche und speziell entwickelt, um einer Sache etwas zurückzugeben, an die wir glauben. So entstand YONA Wear. Es ist ein Activewear-Unternehmen, das sich auf T-Shirts mit coolen, lustigen Hip-Designs konzentriert - auf superweiche T-Shirts. Der Kicker ist, dass 20% aller Einnahmen an Land Conservancies zurückgehen - also jedes Mal, wenn jemand ein Produkt kauft, geben wir alle zurück. Unser Ziel ist es, der nächsten Generation mehr Berge, Strände und Land im Allgemeinen zu geben, das sie nutzen und respektieren können.

Wir haben den Namen YONA gewählt - es ist das Cherokee-Wort für Bär. Wir wollten ein altes einheimisches Wort verwenden, das ein Tier darstellt, das Raum braucht - eine ruhige Kreatur, die ruhig und stoisch ist und nur ihren Raum will. In North Carolina haben wir eine riesige Schwarzbärenpopulation, die vom Ozean in die Berge streift und so kommt YONA Wear her.....

Schließlich werden wir in den nächsten 12 Monaten dazu übergehen, dass alle T-Shirts aus 100% Bio-Baumwolle bestehen, mit der höchsten Qualität und super coolen Designs. Wir werden auch in Zukunft Hüte und Aufkleber anbieten.

YONA wear started as an Idea to combine my love for being outside with my art/apparel background. After selling our local retail store we created in Asheville NC, my creative juices needed an outlet. This time without retail space and designed specifically to give back to a cause we believe in. So YONA wear was created. It's a activewear company concentrating in tees with cool fun hip designs - on super soft tees. The kicker is 20% of all proceeds are going back to Land Conservancies - so every time someone buys any product we all give back. Our goal is to give the next generation more mountains, beaches, and land in general to use and respect.

We picked the name YONA - it is the Cherokee word for Bear. We wanted to use and old native word the represented an animal that needs space - a quiet creature that is quiet and stoic and just wants their space. In North Carolina we have a huge black bear population that roams from the Ocean to the Mountains and so that is where YONA wear comes from.....

Thanks for thinking of us and maybe purchasing out products. Be on the lookout for more products but be patient as its a long process. Eventually in the next 12 months we will transition to all tees being 100% organic cotton, with the highest quality and super cool designs. We will offer hats and stickers in the future too.
