Welcome to Kita’s Critters! My name is Erika (Kita is my nickname) and I make handmade stuffed animals.
My grandma taught me the basics when I was younger, but the one scarf l attempted was
terrible! I gave up crocheting until l was in my 20s, married, and spending a lot of time in bed with some health issues. I decided I wanted to try my hand at making a stuffed animal for a friend of mine who was about to have a baby. I knew I wanted to continue making stuffed animals when I saw the surprise and excitement on her face when I gave her that little stuffed dragon. I love making people happy and I love it when people send me pictures of themselves with the stuffed animals!
