Sums done at the kitchen table, for Australian pay cycles
Come vengono realizzati
Jaiden
Hi, I'm Jaiden.
Our pay comes in every fortnight. Most of our bills don't. The budget templates I found were monthly, and plenty were American, so none of them answered the one question we had on payday: how much goes where? So I built one at our kitchen table that works in fortnights and gives each of us a short list of transfers.
Then I got an ABN of my own, and the next question was how much of each payment is actually mine and how much should go aside for tax. That became the Sole Trader Tax and BAS Tracker.
Everything in the shop is built around Australian pay and Australian words: fortnights, rego, council rates, BAS, G1, 1A and 1B. Each download has an example to learn from, a BLANK copy to fill in and a step-by-step setup video.
How they're made
Every formula is checked against a separate calculation before release, including the awkward ones, like a payment on 30 June, a bill due on the 31st, a refund, and GST that has to round to the cent. Each file has a version number, a "last checked" date and a Rates tab with the source of every figure. If you ever find a mistake, tell me and I'll fix it and send you the new version.
What they're not
They're tools for organising your own numbers, not tax or financial advice. I'm not a registered tax agent or a financial adviser, and Kitchen Table Sums isn't affiliated with the ATO.
