Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

1. Avoid Heat Exposure. Keep out of direct sunlight and never leave in hot vehicles.
2. Keep Dry. PLA is moisture-resistant but not waterproof. Avoid high humidity or prolonged water exposure
3. Gentle Cleaning with damp cloth. Pat Dry
4. Handle with Care. PLA is durable but not indestructible

Is PLA safe?

Children: Many PLA prints have small parts; None of our 3D prints are toys, and thus never intended for small children. Keep away from small children, ALWAYS.
Food Safety: PLA is not food-safe unless coated with a certified food-grade epoxy to seal layer lines wellyhub.com.

Are your prints true-to-size?

Yes, to within just a few millimeters. PLA can swell or shrink a tiny bit during the printing and cooling process. Please be mindful.

Framed plaques are sized thusly....1. the actual plaque size and 2. the size if housed in a frame.

Why are there tiny lines in my print.

The tiny horizontal lines you see on 3D prints are called layer lines (or layer ridges/step lines). They are a natural result of the layer-by-layer building process in additive manufacturing — especially in Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) — where each layer of material is deposited or cured on top of the previous one.

3D printing is indeed appealing, but it is not without blemish.

Are your products original

Greater than 95% of my listed items are original designs. Many of my designs do bear the logos or brands of organizations, including military, fraternity, and sorority orgs.
